Formula One has die-hard fans. A recent survey by popular F1 fan-mag autosport.com found that over 65% of fans have been actively supporting the race for over 15 years. And, according to those in the know, the Singapore GP is one of the best, beating F1 races held Australia, Spain and Malaysia in popularity.
Die-hard F1 fans don’t like to watch from the sidelines, they have been known to walk, run, bike and drive the circuit before race day. More than anything, they want to be in the pit lane. So what are the new F1 owners and race promoters doing to make Formula One more fan-friendly in Singapore?
An avid F1 fan from Singapore’s number one car site, sgcarmart.com, reports.
Making the Singapore GP fan-friendly
Race promoter Singapore GP is offering a host of exciting experiences to get Singapore residents revved up for the 2017 Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix.
Visitors will also enjoy performances from roving artistes, try their hand at interactive activities and shop for official merchandise at the F1 Village. Each year, Singapore residents ballot for a complimentary pair of passes.
For the first time in 2017, the tour will also feature a part of the Temasek Suite, an exclusive hospitality suite that hosts various dignitaries and foreign Ministers of State during the race weekend. Each tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
