What’s Excluded From Commercial Vehicle Insurance?

• Carrying of Passengers or Delivery of Goods: You can use your commercial vehicle for social, domestic and pleasure purposes and also for the business purposes of the Policyholder. However, you cannot use the commercial vehicle for hire or reward and for carrying of passengers or delivery of goods, unless it is in connection with your trade or business (which cannot be in relation to despatch or courier services; for example, lalamove, Foodpanda, Grab, Deliveroo and others)....

• Passenger Transport: You can only carry passengers if they are seated inside the enclosed passenger cabin of the vehicle and safely secured by seat belts.
• Motor Trade-Related Use: The vehicle should not be used for any motor trade-related activities.
• Driving Lessons and Tests: Using the vehicle to provide driving lessons or for driving tests, whether you're paid or not, is not covered.
• Renting Out Your Vehicle: You are not allowed to rent or hire out your vehicle to others.
• Ride Hailing Services: Your vehicle cannot be used for ride hailing services, such as Grab or Go-Jek.
• Unapproved Uses: Any use of the vehicle not specifically authorised in writing is not covered.
