1. This offer is only available to customers (each, an “Eligible Customer”):
   1. who buy ONLINE a new car insurance or motorcycle insurance policies (“Policy”) from Auto & General Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Limited (trading as Budget Direct Insurance) (also referred in these Terms and Conditions as “Budget Direct”, “we”, “our” or “us”) from 00.00 hours of 16 January 2024 to 23.59 hours of 13 March 2024 (dates inclusive) ("Offer Period"), and use promo code “SAVE9GST” in the appropriate field at the online checkout of the Policy purchase;
   2. whose insurance application and premium payment must be accepted by us during the Offer Period;
   3. whose Policy cover commences within 60 days from the purchase date;
   4. whose Policy is not cancelled within 3 months from the Policy start date;
   5. whose Policy does not, at the time of purchase, cover the same subject matter as any of the customer’s existing (whether or not “in force”) policy with Budget Direct (where the customer is the policyholder); and
   6. who do not, so as to purchase the Policy, lapse, cancel, shorten or choose not to renew their existing policy (covering the same subject matter as the Policy) with Budget Direct.
2. Upon validation of the provided details and application of the relevant promo code, each Eligible Customer will receive 9% of the Policy premium (before GST is applied) upon the online checkout of the purchase, in the form of e-shopping voucher where the value is rounded up to the nearest whole number.
3. Only vehicles registered in Singapore may be insured under Budget Direct Insurance’s Car Insurance and Motorcycle Insurance policies. For other terms and conditions of these policies, please refer to the Product Disclosure Documents for our car insurance and motorcycle insurance policies that are currently published on our website, prior to purchase of these policies.
4. Budget Direct will apply its standard underwriting criteria and requirements to all insurance applications and reserves the right, at any time, to reject, in full or in part, any insurance application for purchase of a Policy.
5. Eligible Customers who have successfully purchased the Policy will receive an email containing a notification to log in to their Policy Manager to redeem their e-shopping voucher. Eligible Customers acknowledge that they are responsible for redeeming their e-shopping voucher before the redemption link’s expiry date shown on Policy Manager and accept that their use of the e-shopping voucher is subject to the terms and conditions of the participating merchant(s) providing the e-shopping voucher. The email will be sent to the Eligible Customer’s email address provided to us for the Policy purchase within 30 days after the Policy start date.
6. Budget Direct shall be entitled to determine the participating merchant(s) providing the e-shopping voucher. Save that we reserve the right to substitute the e-shopping voucher with another reward of equivalent value at any time without giving notice, the e-shopping voucher is non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any other item.
7. If the Policy is cancelled within 3 months from the Policy start date or the insurance application is rejected, we reserve the right to deactivate the e-shopping voucher redemption link or deduct e-shopping voucher amount redeemed by the Eligible Customer from the amount of premium to be refunded (if applicable), or otherwise recover such amount from the Eligible Customer.
8. Unless we state otherwise, this offer is not valid with other promotions, discounts, offers, vouchers, rebates or privileges except for incentives enjoyed under the Budget Direct’s Bring a Buddy or partner programme promotions which involve the use of an Affinity ID during policy purchase.
9. Each Eligible Customer agrees to receive marketing communications from Budget Direct in relation to this promotion and our products and services. An Eligible Customer may opt-out from our marketing communications at the time of receipt or by emailing us at [email protected].
10. All employees of Budget Direct and their related companies, their immediate families, and persons living in the same household as the aforementioned individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in this offer.
11. We may amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice or incurring liability to any party.
12. Our decision on all matters relating to this promotion is final. Any update to these terms and conditions will be published on the website of Budget Direct Insurance at budgetdirect.com.sg.
