Terms & Conditions
- These terms and conditions apply to the TRAVEL30 promotion offered by Auto & General Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Limited (trading as Budget Direct Insurance) (also referred to as "Budget Direct",”we“, ”our“, or “us”).
- Only residents of Singapore may purchase and be insured under Budget Direct ’s travel insurance policies. For other terms and conditions of Budget Direct ’s insurance policies, please refer to the Product Disclosure Document for travel insurance policies that is currently published on our website, prior to purchase of such policy.
- This offer is only available to customers (each, an “Eligible Customer”):
- who buys a new single trip or annual travel insurance policy from Budget Direct Insurance (“Policy”) from 00.00 hours of 16 August 2024 to 23.59 hours of 30 September 2024 (dates inclusive) (“Offer Period”) with the promo code "TRAVEL30";
- whose insurance application and premium payment must be accepted by us during the Offer Period;
- whose Policy does not, at the time of purchase, cover similar trip destination(s) and duration (including overlap in policy duration) as any of the customer’s existing policy (whether or not the policy has started) with Budget Direct (where the customer is the policyholder or an insured person under the existing policy) (such policy referred to as “Existing Policy”; who do not cancel their Existing Policy and purchase the Policy for similar trip destination(s) and duration (including overlap in the duration of both policies); and
- do not: (a) for annual travel insurance, cancel the Policy within 3 months from the Policy start date; and (b) for single trip travel insurance, cancel the Policy.
- Upon validation of the customer’s eligibility to enjoy the TRAVEL30 promotion, each Eligible Customer will get 30% worth of e-voucher (where the value is rounded up to the nearest whole number) based on the final premium paid for the Policy.
- Eligible Customers who have purchased the Policy will receive an email containing a notification to log in to their Policy Manager to redeem their e-voucher. Eligible Customers acknowledge that they are responsible for redeeming their e-voucher before the redemption link’s expiry date shown on Policy Manager and accept that their use of the e-voucher is subject to the terms and conditions of the participating merchant(s) providing the e-voucher. The email will be sent to the Eligible Customers email address provided to us for the Policy purchase within 30 days after the Policy start date.
- Budget Direct shall be entitled to determine the participating merchant(s) providing the e-voucher. Save that we reserve the right to substitute the e-voucher with another reward of equivalent value at any time without giving notice, the e-voucher is non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any other item.
- If the Policy is cancelled, we reserve the right to deactivate the e-voucher redemption link or deduct the e-voucher amount redeemed from the premium amount to be refunded (if applicable), or otherwise recover such amount from the Eligible Customer.
- Budget Direct will apply its standard underwriting criteria and requirements to all insurance applications and reserves the right to reject, in full or in part, any insurance application.
- This offer is not valid with any other promotions, discounts, offers, vouchers, rebates or privileges except for incentives enjoyed under Budget Direct’s Bring a Buddy or any of our partner programme promotions which involves the use of an Affinity ID during policy purchase.
- Each Eligible Customer agrees to receive marketing communications from Budget Direct in relation to this promotion and our products and services. An Eligible Customer may opt-out from our marketing communications at the time of receipt or by emailing us at [email protected].
- All employees of Budget Direct and its related companies, their immediate families, and persons living in the same household as the aforementioned individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in this offer.
- We may amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice or incurring liability to any party. Our decision on all matters relating to this promotion is final. Any updates to these terms and conditions will be published on the website of Budget Direct Insurance at budgetdirect.com.sg
