- Only vehicles registered in Singapore and only residents of Singapore may be insured under Budget Direct Insurance’s car insurance policies. For other terms and conditions of Budget Direct Insurance’s car policies, please refer to the Product Disclosure Document that is currently published on our website, prior to purchase of such policy.
- This offer is only available to customers (each, an “Eligible Customer”):
- who buy a new comprehensive car insurance policy (“Policy”) from Auto & General Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Limited (trading as Budget Direct Insurance) (“Budget Direct Insurance”) from 00.00 hours of 8 October 2020 to 23.59 hours of 01 November 2020 (“Offer Period”); and uses promo code “HAPPY4” to enjoy an additional 5% discount during policy purchase;
- whose insurance application and premium payment must be accepted by Budget Direct Insurance during the Offer Period;
- whose Policy cover commences within 60 days from the purchase date;
- whose Policy is not cancelled within 3 months from the Policy start date; and
- whose Policy does not, at the time of purchase, cover the same risks and subject matter as any of the customer’s existing “in force” policy with Budget Direct Insurance (where the customer is the policyholder).
- Upon validation of the provided details, each Eligible Customer will be entitled to receive a NETS FlashPay card with stored value to be determined in the following manner:

- Budget Direct Insurance will send the NETS FlashPay card by ordinary mail ("Mail") to the Eligible Customer within 45 days after: (a) the Offer Period or (b) their Policy start date (whichever is later). If the mailing address provided by the Eligible Customer is incorrect or invalid in any way, Budget Direct Insurance is not obliged to re-send the NETS FlashPay card. The NETS FlashPay card is non-transferable, non-replaceable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items, if lost or stolen.
- If the Eligible Customer does not receive the Mail within the period stated above, the Eligible Customer should call our Customer Care Centre at 6221 2111, Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 8pm or Saturdays from 9am to 3pm (excluding public holidays), or email us at [email protected] for assistance.
- If the Policy is cancelled within 3 months from the Policy start date, Budget Direct Insurance reserves the right to deduct the stored value amount in the NETS FlashPay card received by the customer from the amount of premium to be refunded to him/her (if applicable), or otherwise recover such amount from him/her.
- This offer is not valid with any on-going or current promotions, discounts, offers, vouchers, rebates or privileges, which are published on budgetdirect.com.sg/promotions (save for any incentives enjoyed under the Budget Direct Insurance Bring a Buddy or any of our partner programme promotions which involves the use of an affinity code during policy purchase).
- Each Eligible Customer agrees to receive marketing communications from Budget Direct Insurance in relation to this promotion and our products and services. An Eligible Customer may opt-out from our marketing communications at the time of receipt or by emailing us at [email protected]
- All employees of Budget Direct Insurance and their related companies, their immediate families, and persons living in the same household as the aforementioned individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in this offer.
- The terms and conditions of this offer may be amended by Budget Direct Insurance at any time without notice or incurring liability to any party. The decision of Budget Direct Insurance is final.
