Terms & Conditions for Comprehensive Car Insurance Promotion
- This offer is only available to customers (each, an “Eligible Customer”):
- who buy a NEW car insurance policy (“Policy”) from Auto & General Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Limited (trading as Budget Direct Insurance) (also referred in these Terms and Conditions as “Budget Direct”, “we”, “our” or “us”) from 00.00 hours of 21 July 2026 to 23.59 hours of 31 August 2026 (dates inclusive) ("Offer Period"), and use promo code “SG100” for the Policy purchase;
- whose insurance application and premium payment must be accepted by us during the Offer Period;
- whose Policy cover commences within 60 days from the purchase date;
- whose Policy is not cancelled within 3 months from the Policy start date;
- whose Policy does not, at the time of purchase, cover the same subject matter as any of the customer’s existing (whether or not “in force”) policy with Budget Direct (where the customer is the policyholder); and
- who do not, so as to purchase the Policy, lapse, cancel, shorten or choose not to renew their existing policy (covering the same subject matter as the Policy) with Budget Direct.
- Upon successful purchase and application of the relevant promo code, an Eligible Customer will be eligible to receive a reward in the form of e-vouchers:
- Only vehicles registered in Singapore may be insured. Please refer to the Product Disclosure Documents that are currently published on our website for other terms, conditions and exclusions of our car insurance policies.
- Budget Direct will apply its standard underwriting criteria and requirements to all insurance applications and validate the provided details. We reserve the right, at any time, to reject the application or cancel the Policy (regardless of whether it has been successfully purchased and issued) if the Policy conditions are not satisfied.
- Eligible Customers who have successfully purchased the Policy will receive an email notification to log in to their Policy Manager to redeem their e-voucher. Eligible Customers are responsible for redeeming their e-voucher before the redemption link’s expiry date shown on Policy Manager and accept that their use of the e-voucher is subject to the terms and conditions of the participating merchant(s) providing the e-voucher. The email will be sent to the Eligible Customer’s email address provided to us for the Policy purchase within 30 days after the Policy start date.
- Budget Direct is entitled to determine the participating merchant providing the e-voucher. Save that we reserve the right to substitute the e-voucher with another reward of equivalent value at any time without giving notice, the e-voucher is non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any other item.
- If the Policy is cancelled within 3 months from its start date or if we reject the insurance application or cancel the Policy following validation, we reserve the right to deactivate the e-voucher redemption link or deduct e-voucher amount redeemed by the Eligible Customer from the amount of premium to be refunded (if applicable) or otherwise recover such amount from the Eligible Customer.
- Unless we state otherwise, this offer is not valid with other promotions, discounts, offers, vouchers, rebates or privileges except for incentives enjoyed under our partner programme promotions which involve the use of an Affinity ID.
- Each Eligible Customer agrees to receive marketing communications on this promotion and our products and services. An Eligible Customer may opt-out from our marketing communications at the time of receipt or by emailing us at [email protected].
- All employees of Budget Direct and their related companies, their immediate family members, and persons living in the same household as the mentioned individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
- We may amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice or incurring liability to any party.
- Our decision on all matters relating to this promotion is final.
