Customer Care Executive

We are looking to build a passionate team of people who knows what it takes to deliver the best service to our customers. Auto & General is a people focused company, set out to be an insurer like no other. If you fit the bill, we want you to join us on this exciting journey!

You will be responsible for:

  • all customer enquiries, sales, post-sale customer service and on-going customer relationship management.
  • delivering an excellent level of customer service to maximize sales, customer satisfaction and retention.
  • developing relationships with customers to maximize sales potential and ensure total customer satisfaction.

Your day to day activities:

  • Ensure daily and monthly KPIs are met and exceeded.
  • Be the key contact point for all customers. Deliver fantastic service and sell to new and existing customers using the phone as your main communication tool, apart from email and live chats.
  • Manage all incoming calls for pre-sales enquiries, sales, post-sale customer service enquiries and requests.
  • Perform outbound follow-up calls to customers to help deepen relationships and cross-sell, upsell our products and services.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma holder or GCE ‘O’ level with customer service work experience.
  • General Insurance certification would be an advantage.
  • Possess good verbal and written English language communication skills.
  • Able to converse in one other local language such as Mandarin/ Malay/Tamil or any local dialects for the purpose of liaising with and assisting our customers.
  • Insurance call centre work experience preferred.
  • Proficient in basic PC skills.
  • The ideal candidate is a nice, friendly person, who works well in teams and is able to multi-task.

Executive, Claims

Insurance is more than just a product. At Budget Direct Insurance we also consider it to be a service. We are looking for a Claims Specialist that is confident in his/her interpersonal skills and has excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will work alongside other dedicated Claims professionals to advice, process and coordinate the assistance that our customers requires, following a motor accident or travel incident.

Your day to day duties:

  • First in line person to provide advice to customers on making a claim and the processes involved. Attending to FNOL calls.
  • Creating/Registering new claims cases and promptly follow up on outstanding claims cases
  • Maintaining the Merimen Accident Report Inbox, Claims and Motor Claims Inbox
  • Maintain overall claims log
  • Procuring direct settlement cases with Third Parties.
  • Arranging OD/TP motor surveys with workshop
  • Handle any negative feedback or issues associated with a claim
  • You need to use discernment to assess and investigate claims accurately and objectively.
  • Respond to customers via writing, you must have good business writing skills.
  • Adhere to industry requirements and internal quality standards
  • Willing to reach out and lend a hand where needed, you may be helping with Claims administrative work, such as scanning and uploading third-party documents, sending urgent mails/postages.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the motor insurance field.
  • To be successful in this role, you must be a great team player, good communicator and possess the ability to deal with difficult situation.
