We’ve made it even easier for you to renew your insurance with us.
Prior to your policy renewal you’ll receive a text/SMS message from us.
Look out for our Budget Direct Insurance SMS with the number +65 82410878. It’s important to note that it includes the country code +65.
Simply reply to our SMS, and we’ll process your policy renewal. It’s as easy as that.
If you are on the Automatic Renewal arrangement, we will send you a renewal offer 30 days before your policy expires. Our renewal offer containing your renewal premium will be sent to you by mail, email and text message.
If you would like to continue your existing coverage with us, you do not have to do anything and we will complete the renewal process for you. We will deduct/charge the renewal premium from the credit card we have kept on file for you. This will be done 14 days before the expiry date of your current policy ("Deduction Date").
If you do not wish to renew your policy, please inform us at least 2 working days before the Deduction Date and your policy will lapse after the last day of cover.
If you would like to view, make changes to, or renew your policy early (before the Deduction Date), simply log in to your Policy Manager account, select 'My Policies' and follow the prompts.
Alternatively, you may contact our Customer Care Centre.
If you had opted out of the Automatic Renewal arrangement, we will send you a renewal reminder at least 30 days before your policy expires. Our renewal reminder containing your renewal premium will be sent to you by mail, email and text message.
You can then simply renew your policy manually at least 14 days prior to the expiry of your current policy to prevent your cover from lapsing.
To renew your policy manually:
It's easy. Simply log in to your Policy Manager account, select 'My Policies' and follow the prompts for instant renewal.
Alternatively, you may simply renew your policy over the phone by calling our Customer Care Centre.

Frequently Asked Questions
Full payment of the renewal premium indicated in your renewal invitation should reach us at least 14 days prior to the expiry of your current policy to prevent your cover from lapsing. For car or motorcycle insurance, meeting this deadline is especially important to avoid road tax late payment penalty.
If we do not receive the full premium by the expiry of your current policy, we will assume that you are not renewing your Policy with us and your policy will lapse after the last day of cover.
You do not have to take any further action and we will deduct/charge the renewal premium from your credit card 14 days before the expiry of your current policy (“Deduction Date”).
Please let us know at least 2 working days before the Deduction Date to prevent a charge on your credit card. Your policy will lapse after the last day of cover.
If your renewal invitation has missing or incorrect information, or if there are any changes to your circumstances (e.g. your address, phone number, etc.), please let us know immediately by calling us at 6221 2111. Thank you for your support over the years. We are pleased to offer customers who are renewing with us for the 3rd consecutive year onwards a 5% loyalty discount. This discount will automatically be reflected on your renewal invitation letter.
After receiving your renewal invitation, you can renew online if you are not on an Automatic Renewal arrangement with us via Policy Manager, or call our Customer Care Centre should you need any assistance or to make adjustments to your cover.
Eligible customers will receive their renewal invitation (or expiry notice, if we do not offer to renew your policy) at least 30 days before the annual policy expiry date.
If you would like to receive your renewal invitation earlier, our Customer Care team can assist you in generating your renewal offer up to 60 days before your policy expiry date.
