Where can I find my e-vouchers?
You will receive an email containing a notification to log in to your Policy Manager to redeem the e-voucher. Click on the link to accept your e-vouchers before the redemption link’s expiry date shown on Policy Manager. Once you have redeemed your e-voucher, you have up to 12 months to spend it.

To ensure you receive our notification emails, remember to update us when there’s a change to the email address linked to your Buddy ID.
What happens to my Buddy ID if my policy with Budget Direct Insurance has expired?
Your BuddyID lasts a lifetime! So fret not if do not have any current policy with us. You are still our existing customer and can get to enjoy rewards under our BuddyID Additional Policy Programme. Simply purchase new Car, Motorcycle, Commercial Vehicle and Travel policies from us using your Own BuddyID to enjoy e-voucher rewards for your subsequent new policies.

Can I use my own Buddy ID when I buy more than one Budget Direct Insurance policy?
Absolutely! With your own BuddyID, you are our existing customer and you can get up to $50* in e-vouchers with your next insurance policy purchase. Just remember to use your Buddy ID when you next purchase Car, Motorcycle, Commercial Vehicle and Travel Insurance from us! Do note that Additional Policy Programme e-voucher rewards do not apply when you use your own Buddy ID to purchase a Commercial Vehicle Insurance policy.
Terms and Conditions - Buddy ID Additional Policy
Programme
The terms and conditions set out below apply to the Buddy ID Additional Policy Programme offered by Budget Direct Insurance (also referred to in these terms and conditions as “Budget Direct”, “we”, “our” or “us”):
- The Buddy ID Additional Policy Programme is a rewards programme for customers of Budget of Direct who have been issued a Buddy ID when they first purchased a policy from us (“BD Customer”). BD Customer will get rewards when buying the next one or more additional policies from Budget Direct using their own Buddy ID (each, an “Additional Policy”), in the following manner (Note: This rewards programme does not apply to purchase of additional Commercial Vehicle Insurance policies):
Use your own Buddy ID on your next purchase of an Additional Policy: Premium (after GST and applicable discount) You receive e-vouchers* worth: Car Insurance $800 or more $50 Less than $800 $20 Motorcycle Insurance Any premium amount $20 Annual Travel Insurance Any premium amount $10 Single Trip Travel Insurance $30 and more $5 Commercial Vehicle Insurance Any premium amount Not Applicable - The Additional Policy must not, at the time of purchase, cover the same subject matter as any policy that BD Customer currently has with Budget Direct Insurance (where BD Customer is the policyholder and whether or not the coverage period under the policy has started).
- The rewards under the Buddy ID Additional Policy Programme do not apply to the
Additional Policy:
- if there is renewal, endorsement, extension, shortening or cancellation of any policy that BD Customer currently has with Budget Direct Insurance (covering the same subject matter as the Additional Policy) where BD Customer is the policyholder; or
- if BD Customer’s current policy with Budget Direct Insurance (covering the same subject matter as the Additional Policy) is lapsed, canceled, shortened or not renewed so as to purchase the Additional Policy.
- If there is any change made to BD Customer’s current policy (whether or not during renewal), such policy with the change(s) is not considered an Additional Policy.
- The rewards under the Buddy ID Additional Policy Programme will not apply in conjunction with Budget Direct’s partner programmes which involve the use of an AffinityID . Unless otherwise stated, the rewards may apply on top of existing promotions on our website.
- BD Customer who has successfully purchased their Additional Policy will receive an email containing a notification to log in to their Policy Manager to redeem their e-voucher. BD Customer acknowledges that they are responsible to redeem their e-voucher before the redemption link’s expiry date shown on Policy Manager and accept that their use of the e-voucher is subject to the terms and conditions of the participating merchant(s) providing the e-voucher. The email will be sent to BD Customer’s email address provided to us for the Additional Policy purchase within 30 days after the Additional Policy start date.
- Budget Direct shall be entitled to determine the participating merchant(s) providing the e-voucher. Save that we reserve the right to substitute the e-voucher with another reward of equivalent value at any time without giving notice, the e-voucher is non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any other item.
- If the Additional Policy is cancelled within 3 months from its start date or the insurance application is rejected, we reserve the right to deactivate the e-voucher redemption link or deduct the redeemed e-voucher amount from the premium amount to be refunded or otherwise recover such amount from BD Customer.
- We may amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice or incurring liability to any party. Our decision on all matters relating to the Buddy ID Additional Policy Programme is final.
